Watching the Christmas episode of Dr Who was struck by a quote. No spoilers in case you have not seen it but it described how we tried to live our days when we knew that whatever we did Estella was going to die. How could we act normal or enjoy time with her ? Here is the quote.
"What's the point of them being happy if they're going to be sad later? The answer of course, is that they're going to be sad later."
Thanks Time Lords everywhere
You know, I picked up on that quote as well and thought of you. Nice philosophy to live by. We can find the truth in some funny places. You just have to be open to finding it.
ReplyDeleteIt takes a lot of strength to do that, but the Doctor is right, as always. Haven't watched it yet, but it's recorded. It's one of my comfort shows. Things work out one way or another, even if I can't explain how they did a day after I've seen it.
ReplyDeleteSo true - well done to Steven Moffat for writing and directing this episode, I had tears in my eyes when Matt Smith was saying this line....
